Fum, Fum, Fum is a centuries-old traditional Christmas carol. Fum (“foom”) is a Catalan onomatopoeia of the sound of strumming a stringed instrument.
Arranger Chip Davis (b.1947) is the genius behind the Mannheim Steamroller techno-group which fuses modern and classical music. Robert Longfield arranged the piece for band. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Miami, and conductor of the Greater Miami Symphonic Band.
