Star Spangled Banner

Francis Scott Key/arr. by Steve Smith

Star Spangled Banner has been the national anthem of the USA since 1931. The lyrics come from a poem written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by the British Royal Navy during the War of 1812. The tune was a popular song by John Stafford Smith of London. This different arrangement by Steve Smith is reverent and beautiful.
