When I Am Alone

arr. Ronald H. Polancich

When I Am Alone This old American spiritual was titled “Give Me Jesus“ and takes on a strophic (hymn-like) form. The choice of timbre combinations accentuates the four-part harmonies with lush suspensions.

A native of Joliet, Illinois, he received his Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Augustana College and his Master of Music Degree in Conducting from Northwestern University.
