Nine of the most loved Christmas carols are woven into this medley. Scored with interesting melodic and rhythmic combinations, the blending of tone colors and textures makes this work a warm, pleasurable experience for the Christmas season. Selections include: “Joy to the World”; “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”; “O Come, All Ye Faithful”; “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”; “Good Christian Men Rejoice”; “Angels We Have Heard on High”; “The First Noel”; “Silent Night”; and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”.
Floyd Werle, arranger, is a native of Billings, Montana. He attended the University of Michigan. He served as Chief Arranger of the United States Air Force Band and the Singing Sergeants for 32 years.
