"Go, Cubs, Go!" is sung widely after every Chicago Cubs home win. This upbeat anthem was composed and performed by local folk singer/ songwriter Steve Goodman (1948–1984).
Among Goodman’s popular songs is "City of New Orleans" for which he received a posthumous Grammy. Goodman’s ashes were scattered at Wrigley Field.
