Overture to Gypsy

Gypsy is a 1959 musical with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Arthur Laurents. It is loosely adapted from the memoir of Gypsy Rose Lee, and tells the story of her mother, Rose, who has become known as the “ultimate showbiz mother.” The overture features Let Me Entertain You, Everything’s Coming Up Roses, Together (Wherever We Go), You Gotta Get a Gimmick, Small World, All I Need Is the Girl, and Rose’s Turn.
