Serenade to Spring is a John Warrington arrangement of “It Might As Well Be Spring” from the 1945 film State Fair, “Younger Than Springtime” from the 1949 musical South Pacific, and “I Whistle A Happy Tune” from the 1951 musical The King and I. Richard Rodgers composed these hit songs with his longtime lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II. Their partnership earned them 34 Tony Awards, 15 Academy Awards, two Pulitzer Prizes and two Grammy Awards.
